Casserole Crock Slow Cooker: A Product Review

Last Updated on July 1, 2022 by Cheryl Moreo

After reading an article about this casserole crock slow cooker, I had one. So, back in November 2019, I purchased the manual charcoal casserole.

This slow cooker casserole not only makes your regular casserole recipes, but it can slow cook most of your other recipes. I have cooked chicken breast with potatoes, carrots, and green beans. I spread out chicken wings so they evenly cook. The cooked wings can be seasoned with your favorite sauce and popped under the broiler to give them more color.

Easily portable, the Casserole Crock uses the Cook & Carry locking lid system for easy transport without spills or mess. The Amazon reviews mention the tabs melting. I can only think that they didn’t put the tabs up out of the way of the heated bottom. They easily stay up and out of the way. The tabs are there to lock the lid when you take the casserole to a carry-in. Don’t use the locks while you for slow cooking.

I love that this casserole crock slow cooker is shallow vs. a regular deep, slow cooker. It was always a challenge to get my food out in one piece.
