UV Stripes T-Shirt Scarf Weaving Pattern

The weaving patterns offered by Darn Good Yarn are quite intriguing. Among them, the UV Stripes T-shirt scarf weaving pattern immediately grabbed my attention. This happened because I had previously purchased some T-shirt yarn for a twining project that didn’t turn out as expected. Fortunately, I can repurpose the yarn for this particular pattern. The best part is that the pattern is currently on sale! You can find it here:

Saturday Greetings Newsletter #88

This week, I would like to share two of our top-rated recipes we recently experimented with. While one of these recipes can be prepared relatively quickly, the other simmers throughout the day, allowing you to tend to your errands or work commitments conveniently. Although these recipes are not originally mine, I did make a few adjustments to personalize them slightly.

Bangers and Mash with Stout Onion Gravy

A British Isles-inspired recipe is a simple and convenient dinner option. I opted for Johnsonville smoked bratwurst and paired it with mashed potatoes made using yellow potatoes and heavy cream instead of buttermilk. We skipped making the onion gravy since we preferred to have the sausages served separately.

Slow Cooker Busy Day Stew

Beef Stew

This beef stew is far from ordinary. We combined vegetable soup and traditional beef stew elements to create a unique blend. Adding half a package of taco seasoning mix enhances the flavor. I utilized fire-roasted diced canned tomatoes and my preferred frozen garlic cubes. In addition to fresh diced onion, I included one of my favored frozen onion cubes. These frozen cubes, containing various herbs, are exclusively available at Walmart. They contribute exceptional flavor without the hassle of drying up or spoiling.

I am looking forward to your comments on the new format and content.
